What It Is

Porcelain Veneers.

Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin ceramic shells bonded to the front surface of your teeth. They can correct color, proportion, alignment, and minor positioning in a single treatment — without the extensive tooth reduction crowns require. The right veneer case looks indistinguishable from healthy natural teeth, with strength to match.

The Process

From consultation to confident smile.

Most single-tooth or small-set cases complete in two visits. Larger plans are scheduled across a consultation, design approval, and placement appointment.

01

Consultation

A complimentary visit to discuss your goals, capture photographs and a digital scan, and determine whether veneers are the right approach for your case.

02

Design

Digital Smile Design renders the exact shape, length, and color of your new veneers — you approve every detail before any tooth is touched.

03

Bonding

Custom porcelain veneers are bonded with precision in a single placement visit. You leave with the finished result, polished and ready to wear.

Common Questions

Porcelain veneer answers.

How many appointments does a single veneer take?

Most single-tooth or 2–4 veneer cases are completed in one or two visits. Larger cosmetic plans are scheduled across a consultation, a design approval, and a placement visit.

Will veneers look natural?

Yes. Dr. Vivacqua designs every case so the color, translucency, and surface texture mirror neighboring teeth. The goal is a smile no one notices as cosmetic work — only as a healthier, brighter version of yours.

Are veneers reversible?

Because a thin layer of enamel is removed during preparation, veneers are considered a permanent restoration. Replacement is occasionally needed after 15–20 years, but the underlying tooth remains protected for life.

How do I care for veneers?

Brush and floss normally, attend regular hygiene visits, and wear a night guard if you grind your teeth. Bonded porcelain does not stain — your veneers will look the same in year ten as on day one.
