All-on-X full-arch dental implants

All-on-X

A permanent arch.
Delivered the same day.

All-on-X full-arch implants replace an entire set of teeth permanently — fixed, natural-looking, and built to last a lifetime.

What It Is

All-on-X.

All-on-X — commonly delivered as All-on-4 or All-on-6 — is a full-arch implant restoration in which 4 to 6 dental implants support a single, fixed prosthetic that replaces every tooth in an arch. Unlike dentures, the prosthetic does not come out. Unlike traditional implants, you don't need an implant per tooth. The result is permanent, looks natural, and helps preserve the jawbone long term.

  • Complimentary 3D imaging consultation
  • Same-day implant placement (4 or 6 implants per arch)
  • Temporary fixed prosthetic delivered the same day
  • Final custom zirconia arch after healing

The Process

From consultation to permanent arch.

The same-day procedure delivers fixed teeth on day one; the final zirconia arch follows once your implants are fully integrated.

01

3D Imaging Consult

A complimentary visit with 3D cone-beam imaging to evaluate your jaw, bone density, and gum health, then map the precise implant placement.

02

Same-Day Surgery

Under IV sedation, Dr. Vivacqua places 4 to 6 implants per arch and attaches a fixed temporary prosthetic — you leave the same day with teeth.

03

Final Zirconia Arch

Once your implants have fully integrated (typically 3–6 months), your custom zirconia arch is fitted — the permanent, life-of-the-implant restoration.

Common Questions

All-on-X answers.

What is All-on-X?

All-on-X (commonly All-on-4 or All-on-6) is a full-arch implant technique that replaces an entire set of teeth using 4 to 6 strategically placed implants supporting a single, fixed prosthetic arch. The result is permanent, looks natural, and functions like your own teeth — without the bulk or movement of a denture.

Can I really get teeth in one day?

In most cases, yes. Dr. Vivacqua places the implants and attaches a fixed temporary arch during the same visit, so you leave with teeth that look and function naturally. Your final zirconia arch is placed several months later, once the implants have fully integrated with your jawbone.

Am I a candidate for full-arch implants?

Most adults in good general health are candidates. The main consideration is bone density in the jaw — All-on-X is designed to work even when bone volume is reduced. Dr. Vivacqua uses 3D imaging during your complimentary consultation to evaluate bone, gum health, and medical history, and to recommend the right configuration for your case.

How is All-on-X different from dentures?

Dentures sit on top of the gums and rely on suction or adhesive — they move when you eat, can affect speech, and accelerate jawbone loss over time. All-on-X is anchored into the jawbone with implants and never comes out. You eat, speak, and brush as you would with natural teeth, and the implants help preserve bone structure long-term.

How long do full-arch implants last?

With proper care, the implants themselves can last a lifetime. The prosthetic arch typically lasts 15 to 20 years or more before any component-level replacement may be considered. Routine hygiene visits and good home care are essential.

Is the procedure painful?

The procedure is performed under sedation — most patients choose IV sedation — so you are comfortable throughout. Post-operative discomfort is typically less than patients expect and is well-managed with prescribed medication. Most patients return to normal activities within a few days.
