The Process
From design to delivery — in three visits.
Most patients complete the journey across a consultation, a design-approval visit, and the day-of transformation.
01
Consultation
A complimentary visit to discuss your goals, review your dental and medical history, and capture the photos and scans we need to design your smile.
02
Design
Digital Smile Design renders your exact result before any treatment begins. You review and approve the proportions, shape, color, and length of every tooth.
03
Day-Of Transformation
A single extended visit: preparation, bonding, and final polish of 16–20 custom porcelain veneers. You leave with the smile you approved on the screen.
Common Questions
Full mouth veneer answers.
Can a full mouth of veneers really be done in one day?
Yes, for most candidates. The day-of process — preparation, scanning, fabrication, and bonding — is scheduled as a single extended visit. The preparation and design work happens beforehand: a consultation, digital smile design preview, and a try-in approval visit. By the time you arrive for the day-of appointment, every detail of your new smile has already been approved.
How many veneers are in a 'full mouth' case?
Most patients receive 16 to 20 veneers covering the teeth visible when you smile and speak — typically 8 to 10 per arch (upper and lower). The exact number depends on your smile line and the goals you and Dr. Vivacqua set during the design phase.
How long do full mouth veneers last?
Porcelain veneers typically last 15 to 20 years with proper care — nightly cleaning, regular hygiene visits, and a night guard if you grind your teeth. Bonded ceramic does not stain or discolor over time.
Will the procedure damage my natural teeth?
Modern veneer preparation is minimally invasive. Dr. Vivacqua removes only a thin layer of enamel — typically 0.3 to 0.5 mm — to allow the veneer to bond without changing the contour of your tooth. The underlying tooth structure remains healthy and protected.
Is sedation available for the day-of appointment?
Yes. Many patients choose oral or IV sedation for the extended visit to stay relaxed and comfortable throughout. This is discussed during your consultation and arranged in advance.
